Glowing oranges

So, my new challenge within a challenge is to go through Harley Brown's book, Eternal Truths for Every Artist, and apply each lesson to a painting.  For this painting, I did a little pencil sketch to check my values and then went to work.  Darks, mediums, lights, check!
